“Upon careful examination we notice that the dark highlights of the garments reveal themselves as a seated ox in the lower right; two bird-like specimens to its left and a darting horse along the left shoulder of the Holy Mother. It is only after giving the painting our entire focus and undivided attention that Dali rewards us by unveiling the true complexity of “The Holy Family.”- Paul Chimera, Dali Historian.
